Chiller Default passwords
This may be helpful. Below is a list of chiller passwords and access codes I have personally used to gain technician or service-feature access across different HVAC/BMS platforms. These are not universal, but they may assist when legitimate service access is required and authorised.
Carrier chillers: 1111 or 0000 (model dependent)
Microtech: 4545 (high level), 6555 (low level)
AquaSnap: 0113
Trane chillers: 1001, 2002, or Service
Daikin chillers: DAIKIN, 1234, 6363, or 2001
York chillers: 0000, 1234, 1111, 9675, 7396, or 1380
If anyone knows more manufacturer codes or has confirmed defaults they’ve used in the field, please help expand this list so we can build a solid database.
