Hello Blue Gauge Line.
Some basic things to check on these old APAC units are
Clean the coil
Check fan operation - Especially direction
Check refrigerant pressures
Make sure defrost controls are working UTEC control boards are prone to failure (Hard to track down these days)
Confirm defrost sensor is in correct location and operational.
Totalline maybe able to assist with manuals or parts.
